PRINCIPLE
|
The principle behind the strategy followed by us is in a
nutshell:
One can't judge the Top, nor the Bottom. Buy when
the stock starts to go up. Sell when the Stock starts to go down
after the climb. Stock has an intrinsic value, but not
a logical price, based on the intrinsic value. It
depends very much on the market, and the instant (or
time). It is good the market falls in a correction, you get a
chance to buy them
cheaper.
"The genius of investing is recognizing the
direction of a trend - not catching highs and lows." -

In
order to understand the volatility of the market, we have
introduced a volatility factor. This is based on the volatility of
the Nifty. (Earlier this was based on the most prominent scrip
contributing to the overall volatility, and which may be an
indicator of the market as a whole, but now substituted with
Nifty's volatility from 08/08/08). This volatilty factor has
been calculated as a factor from 0 to 10 with 20% volatility
as 0 and 60% volatility as 10.
(see posting given below:
http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/nsews/message/112
However the volatility and daily movement of
sensex is of no concern to an investor with a longer range of
outlook.
