Quick Start

The iNetWord screen includes a text editing pane surrounded by these four areas:

 

Try This: 

Publish Button

  1. Enter text and pictures into an Untitled document.
  2. Click the Publish button

You can publish to your site at this domain, or to your own Web address. 

 

Upload Picture Button

  1. Place the cursor where you wish to insert the picture.
  2. Click the Upload Picture button.

The picture is also inserted into your Pictures & Backgrounds pane at the left for future use.

 

 

Pictures & Backgrounds pane

  1. Open the Pictures & Backgrounds pane by clicking on it at the left. 

Explore folder (FTP) Link

Scroll down in the Pictures & Backgrounds pane and click on the 'explore folder (FTP)' link.

Enter your password.  An FTP window appears.

Use Windows Explorer to copy/paste or drag-n-drop any number of picture files from your computer to the iNetWord FTP window.

Refresh Files Display

Click the word 'refresh' at the very bottom of the files section to display the new pictures. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Save Button

  1. Enter text and pictures into an Untitled document.
  2. Click the Save button.

Your document is stored privately at this Web site. The blue arrow at the right of the save button activates the Save As dialog box.

 

Close Button

  1. Click the Close button at the upper right.

Your document is auto saved periodically, so you do not need to specifically save or close it to enable others to view your changes.

 

Document Tabs

  1. Open or create several documents.
  2. Switch between documents using the document tabs at the right.

You can easily work on several documents at once, copying and pasting text and graphics between them.

Do not use more than one Internet Explorer browser window or more than one Firefox window to access iNetWord.
