Version 2 Beta Test

iNetWord Version 2 is undergoing public beta test. You can participate. Simply sign up for an account and use iNetWord for your documents, your web pages, and your everyday word processing. Even better, have friends sign up and collaborate with them. They'll enjoy it, and you can always revert your documents back to your version.

 

We recognize the value of your contributions and will send you a free Wi-Fi detector for your requests and bug reports. Unusual?  Yes — and so is iNetWord. Please report all problems. Your system(s) and documents are unique in some ways. We may not have encountered your problem in our in-house and outsourced testing. You can view all known problems in our bug database.

 

Based on feedback, we've added the following to iNetWord:

  • Track Changes highlights changes between versions of a document
  • Folder Sharing connects your and your associate's accounts
  • Word import/export and PDF export makes it easy to operate in today's document environment
  • Blog Posting easily distributes your musings on the Web
  • Fire Fox support broadens iNetWord's availability. See the troubleshooting page for a discussion of some Firefox limitations.
  • Merge Fields enables iNetWord to work with your online data and address books
  • Platform Abstraction Layer makes it easy to integrate iNetWord with your online services and applications

What's next? That is partially up to you. We are considering: more powerful photo manipulation, buttons to generate searches at Google, Yahoo, or Wordsmyth based on the current selection, formulas in tables, fill-down series in tables, sorting table rows, more bullet types, whole-table styles to record your favorite table formats, random and auto-generated table formats, and better UI for Server Side Includes.
